I just saw Andra's obituary in the Republican. It has been many years since I last saw her, but I will always remember her most fondly for the friendship she offered me as a young and confused mother. I admired her so much for her graciousness and elegance. My condolences to all, but especially to Tony, who was--reluctantly but almost as graciously --in my Sunday school class many years ago.

I remember Andra as well as your wonderful family from the neighborhood. There is never a Young at Heart celebration that happens at Plainfield United Methodist that I don't think about her. She always loved that gathering and long after she had moved to Zionsville, she loved returning to see old friends and her friends loved visiting with her. She was such a wonderful example of Christian discipleship. We all loved her and Dick and cared so much for them as they did for us. Our love and sympathy to each of you during the difficult days ahead. Remember that she shines through each of your lives. Sue Castleman Hylton

I am so sorry to hear that Andra is not with us anymore. She was a rare individual. One of the most positive people I have known. She really believed that it was better to say something good than to complain about things. I don't remember her being grumpy, even when everyone else was irritable. She was always ready with a smile and enjoyed all the activities at the Garden Homes. She made beautiful quilts, helped with the yearly rummage sale and was an avid card player. Oh, and she loved Chinese food. It was always her choice when we went out to lunch. My consolation is that I know where she is and that she sends us all her love

Dear Family,
Andra had been a long time member of the Delta Alpha Gamma, Inc., Alpha Chapter. Several of her sisters have kept in touch throughout her years in Zionsville. She will be remembered and missed.
Our prayers are with you during this time of loss and sorrow. May God's strength comfort you with His peace.
