William C. Bollman, 87 of Danville, passed away on September 03, 2023 at Asbury Towers in Greencastle. He was born on August 07, 1936 in Jamestown, New York, to the late Helen (Hohl) and John Bollman. William married Palmira Jean Mata on April 11, 1959 in Jamestown, New York. William worked with lathes in the milling industry and retired from Inland Container as a maintenance technician after 10 years. William was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church in Clermont. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Jean Bollman; children, Patricia Lehr (Mark) of Coatesville, Josef Bollman (Tina Brockway), former daughter-in-law, Rae Bollman, all of Falconer, New York, daughter-in-law, Ruth Bollman of Greencastle; 5 grandchildren, Lesley, Ryanne, and Joseph Lehr (Bre), Nicholas and Christopher Bollman; 3 great-grandchildren, Caleb, Jacob and Jensen Lehr; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Christopher Bollman; and siblings, John Bollman, James Bollman, Mary Jo Shepard Darroch, and Barbara Wigley. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Baker Funeral Home, Danville, is handling the arrangements.
