Vincent L. Abell, 74 of Danville, passed away on June 13, 2022 at Woodland Terrace. He was born on November 13, 1947 in Indianapolis, to the late Maxine Harris Abell. Vincent was an U. S. Air Force veteran and worked for the U. S. Postal Service for 50 years, retiring in 2018. Vince was a kind and outgoing man who enjoyed all physical activities. He enjoyed being outside and staying fit. He loved his family and loved playing with his children when they were young and then playing with his grandchildren. He enjoyed helping them with all their sporting activities and attending their events. He was very much loved and will be deeply missed. Survivors include his daughter, Heather Abell (John Boller) of Avon; son, Chris Abell of Danville; sister, Rhonda English of Danville; and grandchildren, Canaan Abell, Tristaan Abell, and Devon Boller. Nieces: Mindy Abell, Amber Abell and Merisia Abell. Nephews: Keth Abell, DJ Abell, John Newby and Jason Newby. His mother, brothers, Dennis and Mark Abell; and granddaughters, Hailee Abell and Ashtyn Abell, preceded him in death. Baker Funeral Home, Danville, is handling the arrangements.
