Rachel I. (Thompson) Juhlin

Rachel I. Juhlin, age 73, of Danville passed away on October 29, 2023 in her residence.  She was born on November 13, 1949 in Hazelwood, Indiana to the late Charles L. and Leona M. Sparks Thompson.  Rachel worked as a Cryogenic Tech for 38 years for Kadel Engineering.  She was a proud United States Marine Corp Veteran.  She was a past member of the Plainfield Eagles Lodge #3207.   Survivors include her children: Shane Duncan and Dottie (Stephen) Huber.  Siblings: Melvin “Butch” (Pam) Thompson, Patricia (Jerry) Bennett, Margaret Buck, Martha Reidl, Jimmy (Marcia) Thompson and Ramona (Jan) Adams.  Brother in Law Donnie Travelsted.  Grandchildren: Daniel Natoli, Logan Gooding-Natoli, Zachary Thompson and Emma Bicknell.  Great Grandson: Lucas Natoli.  She was preceded in death by her sister: Bobbie Jean Travelsted.   Funeral services will be held on Saturday November 4, 2023 at 1 p.m. in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield.  Inurnment will take place in Clayton Cemetery at a later date.  Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral services in the funeral home.  Please visit www.bakerfuneralservice.com to leave the family a condolence.
