Maude Elaine (Shaw) Crum

Maude Elaine Crum 87, of Plainfield, passed away on June 10, 2020 in her residence.  She was born in Indianapolis to the late William O. and Ada Maude Knight Shaw on March 7, 1933.  Elaine was a personnel clerk for the IRS before her retirement.  She was the widow of Delmas Crum.  She enjoyed Cross stich, was an avid reader, genealogy, was a friend of the library in Clayton and loved her Grandkids dearly.  Survivors include her children: Troy (Heather), Tracy (Kathy) and Terry (Beth) Crum.  Brothers: Homer (Gloria) and Mark (Cathy) Shaw. Sister: Lois Sue (Willie) Dishon. Grandchildren: Andrew( Brianna) Crum, Delmas Benjamin Crum, Meredith Sheldon Griffin Crum, Zoe Crum, Theresa Richey, Nathaniel Crum, Daphe Crum and Charles Crum.  3 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her son Anthony Crum Caccivio, stepson Randy Crum,  Sister Patricia Acosta and Brother William Shaw Jr.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday June 13, 2020 at 1 p.m. in Hall-baker Funeral Home, Plainfield.  Calling hours will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday June 12, 2020 and 12 noon to service time on Saturday in the funeral home.  Entombment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery in Plainfield.  Please make memorial contributions to Friends of the Plainfield Library or to the Boy Scouts of America/ Crossroads of America Counsel   Online condolences can be made at www.bakerfuneralservice.com The family requests that everyone attending please wear a mask.
