Larry E. Bruner

Larry E. Bruner age 75, of Clayton, passed away on February 6, 2023 at IU West Hospital in Avon.  He was born on October 13, 1947 in Danville to the late James A. and Opal M. Bemis Bruner.  Larry was an US Navy Veteran and served as a member of the Seabees.  He was a man of many trades, a firefighter and a master mechanic just to name a few.  Larry was a member of the Hazelwood Christian Church, District chairman and was on the Board of Trustees of IVFA, Treasurer of the Hazelwood Christian Church and was a trustee of the Center Valley Cemetery.  Calling hours will be held on Saturday February 11, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Hazelwood Christian Church 9947 S. County Road 0 Clayton, Indiana 46118.  Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. in the church with Rev. Tim Gephart officiating.  Burial with military rites will take place in Center Valley Cemetery.  Larry was preceded in death by his parents, with wife Connie Jewell Bruner and his brother James Bruner.   He is survived by his children: Larry Bruner II, Michelle Wallace and Matthew Bruner (Angie).  Sisters: Marsha McCleery, Judy Clayton (Larry) and Nancy Martin (Greg).  11 Grandchildren and 5 Greatgrandchildren.   Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield is handling arrangements.  Please visit www.bakerfuneralservice.com to leave the family a condolence.
