Karisa J. Brown, 27 of Plainfield, passed away August 19, 2021. She was born on November 16, 1993 in Indianapolis to James Barry and Angela Kay (Schober) Brown. Karisa graduated from Plainfield High School in 2012, received her bachelor’s degree in 2016 from the University of Indianapolis and also her doctorate of physical therapy in 2020. She was a member of the Westside Church of the Nazarene. Karisa loved spending time with family, friends, and her church family. She was also a DIY enthusiast and loved to travel, the outdoors, music and movies, and making people smile. Survivors include her parents, Barry and Angie Brown of Plainfield; her fiancé Kameron Tippey of Indianapolis; brothers, Nathan Brown of Plainfield, Brandon Brown (Elisabeth) of Bourbon, IN., Tyler Brown (Zoe) of Plainfield; grandparents, Ray and Brenda Schober of Avon; and nephews, Eloy and Elyot Brown. Her grandparents, Guy and Laura Brown, preceded her in death. Services will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Calvary Chapel of Danville 2165 E. Main Street Danville, Indiana 46122, with burial to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 pm on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 in Hall-Baker Funeral home, Plainfield.
