Karen K. Riley Jugg, age 78 of Avon, passed away on April 6, 2021. She was born on February 1, 1943 in Indianapolis, Indiana, to the late Harold and Betty Pflum Lawalin. Karen was the widow of her husband of 52 years, Donald Riley and also the widow of Buddy Jugg. She was a lab technician for Heritage Company, worked in the Transportation Department for the State of Indiana, and was a school bus driver for Avon Community Schools. Karen was a member of St. Susanna Catholic Church in Plainfield. She enjoyed gardening, was the majorette in her class at Washington High School, Bunco club for over 50 years, loved to cook, quilt and sew. Calling hours will be from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, April 11, 2021 in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield. A Funeral mass will be held on Monday, April 12, 2021 at 11a.m. at St. Susanna Catholic Church in Plainfield. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield. Survivors include her daughters, Holly A. Bourne (Kyle), Teri L. Riley, Cindy S. Handt (Leon), Tracy K. King (John); sister, Nancy Branesky; sister-in-law, Rosemary Lawalin; 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and her beloved dog, Daisy. She was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Lawalin.
