Judy A. Beaver, 83 of Greenwood, passed away on October 31, 2021. She was born on April 14, 1938 in Nobel, Arkansas, to the late Armit and Pearl Pugsley Greer. Judy married Donald E. Beaver on May 11, 1957. Through their marriage they lived in many homes, in several communities, and met amazing people. They lived in the Decatur Central community long enough for all four of their daughters to graduate, and were active members of Valley Mills Christian Church. After the children were grown they moved to Plainfield, becoming members of Plainfield Christian Church. She worked many jobs with one purpose to spoil her children. Her final job was as a sales associate for Meijer before retirement. Judy enjoyed painting, crocheting, embroidery, family, church, shopping with her girls, and teaching the grandchildren important things in life (like to eat dessert first, it tastes better when you are hungry). Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Donald E. Beaver of Greenwood; daughters, Judith Scotten, Brenda Fahr, Lisa Taylor; sisters, Pauline Landreth, Lila Green; 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Her parents; daughter, Donna Beaver; brothers, Bill, Clifton, James, Robert, Samuel Greer and 3 beloved grandchildren, preceded her in death. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 6, 2021 in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield, with Pastor Steve White officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the service in the funeral home. Burial will be at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 8, 2021 in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
