Jerry Lee Pullen age 79, of Clayton, passed away on December 30, 2020 in his residence. He was born on March 15, 1941 in Bloomfield, Indiana to the late Donald and Belle Louise Smiley Pullen. He married Alta Mae Tate; she preceded him in death. Jerry was a graduate of Purdue University School of engineering. He was a Navy veteran serving in the Vietnam War and was a lifetime member of VFW post #908. Jerry was a highway engineer for INDOT for 51 years retiring in 2016. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday January 5, 2020 in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield. Calling hours will be from 1 p.m. until services in the funeral home. Survivors include his daughters: Rita Blacklock and Peggy Smith. Sons: James and Wayne Tate, Timothy Pullen. Sister: Beverly Ann Ockerman. Brother Stephen Joe Pullen. 12 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandson. He was preceded in death by his wife Alta, Brothers: James Donald and John William Pullen and Sister Bonnie Jean Miller.
