Jane A. (Haussin) Hering

Jane A. Hering, 85 of Plainfield, passed away on November 4, 2018 at Cumberland Trace in Plainfield.  Jane was born on September 3, 1933 in Linton, Indiana to the late Oscar and Isabelle Johnson Haussin.  She worked as a paralegal for 20 years for Todd Johnson and was a trust officer at Bank One in Plainfield retiring in 1997.   Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at St. Susanna Catholic Church, Plainfield.  A funeral mass will be at 7 p.m. in the church with Father Glenn O’ Connor officiating.  Inurnment will take place on Friday, November 9, 2018 at 1 p.m. in Fairview Cemetery in Linton, Indiana.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Christian Theological Seminary at cts.edu. Survivors include her children, James P. “Jimmy” Hering (Kelly) and Karen Duling (Bob); brothers, James, Jerry and Patrick Haussin; sister, Joan Chiusano; 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Mark Hering.    Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield, is handling arrangements.
