Helen Irene (Lewis) Case

Helen Irene Case, age 87, of Plainfield, went to be with the lord on February 14, 2022.  She was born on July 25, 1934 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Mildred Pauline Beach and Francis Marion Lewis.  She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Max Case whom she married on February 18, 1950.  Helen was a homemaker, a longtime member of Maple Grove Baptist Church, Christian women’s group, a 36 year member of the Speedway tops club where she served as leader and co leader for 10 years, avid colts fan, loved to read her Bible, was a talented seamstress and loved to crochet.  Visitation will be held on Friday February, 18, 2022 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield.  Funeral services will be on Saturday February 19, 2022 at 11 a.m. with Matt Pearcy officiating.  Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.  Survivors include her three children: Judith Mize (David), Candy Garten (Robert) and Timothy Case.  Sister: Pearl Morrell. Brothers: William and Benjamin Lewis.  7 Grandchildren, 20 greatgrandchildren and 6 Greatgreatgrandchildren.
