Glen C. Beck

Glen C. Beck, 89 of Plainfield, passed away September 02, 2021.  He was born on June 15, 1932 in Rogersville, Tennessee, to the late Waitman and Georgia (Russell) Beck.  He married Unave Spears on September 02, 1955 in Danville, Indiana, and she preceded him in death on November 12, 2012, after 57 years of marriage.  Glen was the owner of Beck’s Construction Company for over 50 years, retiring in 2008.  He was a member of the Restoring Hope Community Church in Indianapolis.  Survivors include his daughters, Linda Scott (Gregg) of Cornelius, NC., Reba Gipson of Martinsville; sons, Charles Beck (Jackie) of Clayton, Randy Beck (Beth) of Martinsville; sister, Relda Davis of Rogersville, TN.; 11 grandchildren, Jason Hilton (Crystal), Jennifer Jones (Justin), Terry Hardin (Michelle), Jason Scott (Erin), Ryan Scott (Kristin), John Beck, Mary Beck, Chris Beck, Ashley Beck, Whitney Gauthier (Josh), Ryan Bess and 21 great-grandchildren.   His parents, wife and brothers, Sammie, Fred, John and Harlen Beck, preceded him in death.  Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 07, 2021 in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield, with burial to follow in the Clayton Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the service time in the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Heart Association Midwest Affiliate 3816 Paysphere Circle Chicago, IL 60674.
