Frank Joseph Skala, Jr.

Frank Joseph Skala, Jr., 80 of Coatesville, passed away May 08, 2021.  He was born on September 16, 1940 in Waukegan, Illinois, to the late Tillie (Slavicek) and Frank Joseph Skala, Sr.  He was married to Nancy J. (Steagall) Skala on November 26, 1988 in Libertyville, Illinois, and she preceded him in death on January 05, 2014.  Frank was a factory worker in the automotive industry for 32 years.  He loved his family, fishing and spending time outdoors doing yardwork.  Survivors include his stepchildren, Bennie Ferguson of Coatesville, Cynthia Robinson of Florida; sister, Betty Szwedo of Illinois; 2 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  His daughter, Rhonda Gaspen and sister, Lillian Gundersen, also preceded him in death.  Baker Funeral Home, Danville, is handling the arrangements.  Private services will be held.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to one’s favorite charity.
