Esther V. (Williams) Jackson, 72 of Lizton, passed away December 8, 2018. Born January 30, 1946 in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of the late Martin Albert “Bud” and Harriet Ann (Buckle) Williams. Esther began her career as a special needs caretaker for Opportunity Cottage in Danville, continued with the Sycamore Center and retired from ResCare. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lizton. Survivors include her children, Thomas Lee (Rhonda) Jackson of Greencastle, Kelly Ranae (Doug) Wood of Lapel, Anthony Wade Jackson of Lizton; siblings, Robert (Jewell) Williams of Kokomo, Judith Fisher of Clayton, Janet Lawson of Roachdale; grandchildren, Danielle Wood, Brandon Wood, Jacob Jackson, Dakota Jackson, Dalton Jackson, Hunter Jackson; and a great-granddaughter, Karma Jackson. Her parents and siblings, Kenneth Williams and Donna Ray, preceded her in death. Services will be at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 in Baker Funeral Home, Danville, with burial to follow in Clayton Cemetery.
