Edna “Eileen” Falls, 95 of Danville, passed away August 10th peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family. Services will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 18, 2018 in Baker Funeral Home, Danville, with burial to follow in Danville South Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the service time in the funeral home.
Eileen was born on January 23, 1923 to Claude and Bernice (Denny) Worrell. She married the love of her life, Billie Dee Falls on April 15, 1944. Bill passed away on January 22, 1992.
She belonged to the Epsilon Sigma Alpha Sorority and the American Legion Auxiliary. She retired from Detroit Diesel Allisons, a division of GM, after 30 years of service and was a very dedicated blood donor.
Eileen is survived by 2 daughters, Sherie Richardson of Mesa, AZ., Jann Ross of Danville; 6 granddaughters; 31 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; a sister, Eva Pickel, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Lena Bailey Head, Thelma Pryor; a brother, Bud Worrell; a great grandson and her beloved dog, Buddy.
