David Allen Thomas

David Allen Thomas, 57 of Danville, passed away on April 26, 2023.  He was born in 1965 in Lorain, Ohio, to Helen Elaine (Weaver) and Dayne Thomas.  David married Heather Dimmick in January, 1991 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.  He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and a Bachelor degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado - Boulder.    He worked in Quality Assurance for Pharmaceutical Basics, and Benedict Nuclear Pharmaceuticals. After leaving the Pharmaceutical industry he joined The Colorado Brewing Company and was the Head Brewer. The Stillwater Cream Stout won a silver medal in the 1996 World Beer Cup.  David loved the outdoors and music.  Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Heather Thomas of Danville; son, Richard Thomas of Indianapolis; daughter, Catherine Thomas (Val Hackett) of Avon; father, Dayne Thomas of Dover, Ohio; and brother, Dayne Thomas (Angela Thomas) of Bolivar, Ohio.  His mother; sister, Ann Thomas; and brother, Matthew Thomas, preceded him in death.  Baker Funeral Home, Danville, is handling the arrangements.  There will be no services at this time.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the National Wildlife Federation.
