Obituary

Cora Lee A. Rosemary, 105 of Plainfield, passed away on July 11, 2021.  She was born on July 24, 1915 in Callaway, Virginia, to the late Henry and Aralet Webb Agee.  Cora Lee married F. Lee Rosemary on May 6, 1946 in Nashville, Tennessee, and he preceded her in death in 2001.  She earned her nursing degree and was the Plainfield School nurse in the late 60’s. Cora Lee was a homemaker and loved to garden, both flowers and vegetables.  She was an active member of the Plainfield United Methodist Church.  Cora Lee also was a member of the Plainfield Plus, Guilford Township Association, Mental Health Club for Hendricks County, Plainfield Women’s Club, Thursday Club and she volunteered for the Hendricks County Historical Society.  Survivors include her children, Gary Lee Rosemary (Kathy), Jane Iles (Tom); grandchildren, Jennifer Saalfrank (Chad), Kimberly Tex, Laura Iles (David Newman); great grandchildren, Samantha Saalfrank, Cora Saalfrank, Henry Iles, Gracelyn Iles and Lucas Newman.  Her parents, husband, daughter, Anne Rosemary Sherwood; grandson, Matthew Rosemary; 6 brothers and 3 sisters, preceded her in death.  Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 in Plainfield United Methodist Church with entombment to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery Mausoleum.  Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the service time in the church.  You are also invited to watch the services via live stream on the Hall-Baker Funeral Home Facebook Page.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the PUMC Bell Choir 600 Simmons Street Plainfield, IN  46168.
