Charles W. “Pete” Pedigo

Charles “Pete” Pedigo, 87 of Danville, passed away on October 12, 2020 in his residence. He was born on February 27, 1933 in Pittsboro, to the late Lloyd and Mamie Smith Pedigo. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Janice Cummings Pedigo; children, Cathy Whitmore, Janet Cox (George), Bobbi Stoebick (Daniel), Sherrie Agee, Terry Walker (Carolyn), Dennis Walker (Lova), Kim Shugars (Pat); sister Joyce Newby; 20 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Brooke Walker, a sister, Gertrude, and a brother, Robert. Pete served in the United States Navy. He worked many years at International Village Apartments maintenance before retiring from the Indianapolis Airport in 1998. He always enjoyed spending time with his family, golf cart rides, being in his garden and racing. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 16, 2020 in Hall Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield, with burial to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the service time in the funeral home.
