Charles Ronald “Ronnie” Robertson, 86 of Danville, passed away October 26, 2021. He was born on July 10, 1935 in Linton, Indiana, to the late Charles N. and Lillian B.(Cunningham) Robertson. Ron proudly served his country for 3 years in the U. S. Marine Corp. He married Wyvonna L. Booker on December 3, 1955 in Dugger, Indiana. His career spanned many years in the sheet metal trade, he owned his own excavating business, and in later years served as a job superintendent, and a utilities inspector before retirement. Ron especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and his beloved Clydesdale horses. He also served as president of the National Shoot to Retrieve Association and was a retired member of the Amo Conservation Bird Dog Club. He was a past member of the Danville Optimist Club. Survivors include his loving wife of 66 years, Wyvonna Robertson of Danville; children, Rhonda (Larry) Angrick, Rick (Karen) Robertson; 3 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren and 5 step great grandchildren, his treasured nephews and countless friends. His parents and sister, Janice Hardwick, preceded him in death. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until the service begins in the funeral home. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 29, 2021 in Baker Funeral Home, Danville, with Pastor Phillip Bilyeu officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in the Clayton Cemetery.
