Catherine G. (Meier) Mason

Catherine G. Mason, age 90 of Plainfield, passed away on February 1, 2021 in her residence.  She was born on January 12, 1931 to the late Sheldon and Jennie Yates Meier.  She was the widow of Hubert E. Mason.  She was in housekeeping for the Ashley Motel for several years.  Survivors include her children: Mark (Jolene) and Rodney Mason, Anita Holcomb and Gina Weddle.  Brothers: Jim and Steve Meier.  Sisters: Mary Mitchell and Roberta McCammon.  11 Grandchildren, 15 Great grandchildren and 6 Great Great Grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband Hubert Mason and son David Mason.  Funeral services will be on Friday February 5, 2021 at 1 p.m. in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield.  Calling hours will be on Friday in the funeral home from 11 a.m. until services.  Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.
