Obituary

Carolyn Sue Cave Wamsley, 57 of Danville, passed away on March 11, 2021.  She was born on December 08, 1963 in Indianapolis, Indiana, to the late Pauline (Hansman) and Donald R. Cave, Sr.  Carolyn graduated from Danville Community High School in 1982 and then went to school for cosmetology.  She owned and operated a beauty salon in her home for several years.  She was a member of Mary, Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Danville.  Carolyn married Mark A. Wamsley in 1983 in Clear Lake City, Texas.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed many types of crafting, including making her own greeting cards and woodworking.  Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Mark Wamsley of Danville; sons, Matt R. Wamsley, Jon M. Wamsley, both of Danville; brother, Donald R. Cave, Jr.; sisters, Peggy Cave, Lisa Ellison and Cindy Keller.  Her parents, brother, Gary D. Cave and sister, Catherine Pugh, preceded her in death.  A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, March 22, 2021 in Baker Funeral Home, Danville, with burial to follow in Clayton Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the service time in the funeral home. All guests attending visitation and/or services will be required to wear a mask at all times in an effort to promote a safe environment.
