Obituary

Brenda A. Jones, 80 of Danville, passed away on May 17, 2023.  She was born on November 04, 1942 in Humboldt, Tennessee, to the late Alice Ethel (Tidwell) and James Levi Dixon.  Brenda was a homemaker and enjoyed reading, hanging out with her niece, Rita, and being with her family, especially her grandkids.  Survivors include her children, Tom Jones (Peggy) of Avon, Brian Jones (Mindy) of Madison, Wisconsin, Polly Pope (Doug) of Mooresville; grandchildren, Diane and Emily Jones, Madelaine and Sam Jones, Nathan and Emma Pope, Gretchen and Leo Jones, Clara and James Cownie.  Her parents; brother, James Dixon; and oldest son, Bill Jones, preceded her in death.  Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 20, 2023 in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield, with burial to follow in the West Newton Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the service time in the funeral home.
