Barbara E (Ritchey) Jensen

Barbara E. (Ritchey) Jensen, 67 of Mooresville, passed away July 8, 2018.  Born November 6, 1950 in Pasadena, Texas, she was the daughter of Albert Compton and Mary Eloise Hayworth Ritchey.  She graduated from Danville High School in 1968 and then married Ronald Edward Jensen on June 29, 1968.  Barbara worked as an insurance agent and also in the Hendricks County Clerk’s office, retiring in 1996.  She was a member of the Clayton Christian Church.  Survivors include her daughter, Jeanne (Frank) Halik of Arizona; brother, Don (Vickie) Ritchey of Westport; grandchildren, Jacob Michael, Lily Halik, and Greyson Halik.  Her parents, brother, Randall Bruce Ritchey, husband, and daughter, Kristin Nicole Jensen, preceded her in death.

Services will be at 11:00 am on Friday, July 13, 2018 in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield, with burial to follow in the Danville South Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4:30 – 7:30 pm on Thursday, July 12, 2018 in the funeral home.  Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital P.O. Box 50 Memphis, TN 38101-0050.
