B. Joe Lamble, 82, of Plainfield, Indiana passed away on August 08, 2019 peacefully at his home. He was born June 04, 1937 in Evansville, Indiana to the late Leo and Helen (Buck) Lamble. Joe graduated from Evansville F. J. Reitz High School in 1955. He graduated with a B. S. and an M. B. A. from California Coast University. Joe was an entrepreneur forming his own company, Inventory Services, Inc. in the 1970’s. Prior to retirement he was CEO of Frannet Midamerica, a franchise consulting company that included 5 offices.
Joe was a member of the Plainfield United Methodist Church, Delaware Masonic Lodge No. 46 F & AM in Muncie for 38 years and the Scottish Rite in the Valley of Evansville for 25 years. He enjoyed volunteer services with SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives) and Meals on Wheels. His hobbies included reading, traveling, especially cruising, fishing, and working crossword puzzles, but most of all he cherished time with family.
Joe is survived by his wife of 41 years, Rosemary (Latshaw) Lamble; daughter, Judi Lamble (Andrew Winton) of Edina, MN.; sons, Michael Lamble (Karen) of Chicago, IL. and Wade Lamble (Heather Moore) of Kirkland, WA.; and 6 grandchildren, Sarah and Rachel Winton, Luke and Grant Lamble, and Mira and Miles Lamble. Joe was also preceded in death by his brother, Walter Lamble.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, October 5, 2019 in Plainfield United Methodist Church. Friends and family may call from 2:00 pm until the service in the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the P.U.M.C. Music Ministry, 600 Simmons Street, Plainfield, IN 46168. Private burial will be held at the Bunnell Cemetery in Frankfort, Indiana.
