Allen Leon McMasters, 76 of Plainfield, passed away on January 04, 2023. He was born on September 13, 1946 in Colfax, Washington, to the late Russell Glen and Eleanor Ruth (Boller) McMasters. Allen was a carpenter by trade and enjoyed working with his hands and all types of woodworking. He was an U. S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. Allen loved to fish, camp, and taking care of his cacti. Above all else he enjoyed spending time with his family. Survivors include his children, Scotty A. McMasters (Kathy) of Indianapolis, Patti Bedwell (Michael) of Plainfield, Ronnie Jones stationed in England, Jennifer Bedwell, Nicholas Bedwell, both of Plainfield; siblings, Leroy McMasters (Leanna) of Oregon, Ronnie McMasters, Roberta Kuster (Mike), both of Washington; grandchildren, Kristen Thompson of Alabama, Corey McMasters (Colleen) of Greenwood, Amanda Leighty (Vinny) of Avon, Olivia Bedwell, Sam Bedwell, both of Brownsburg; great grandchildren, Cassidee Redhouse-McMasters, Silas McMasters, Logan Leighty, Remy Leighty, and Charley White. His parents; wives, Rachel Jean Sapp McMasters, Linda Sharp McMasters; daughter, Susan Renee McMasters; and brother, Rusty McMasters, preceded him death. Visitation will be from 1:00-3:00 pm on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield. A memorial service will begin at 3:00 pm in the funeral home with military honors to follow. The funeral service will be live streamed on the Hall-Baker Funeral Home facebook page at 3 P.M.
