Obituary

Alan D. Petree, 53 of Danville, passed away December 26, 2020 at his residence.  He was born on January 29, 1967 in Danville to Sharon L. Swope and Dean Petree.  He married Janene Forbes on July 27, 2002 in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.  Alan was a journey machine repairman at Rolls Royce for the past 23 years.  He was a member of the U A W Local #933.  Alan loved his family, dog, hunting, working on cars, and guns.  Survivors include his wife, Janene Petree of Danville; children, McKenzy Petree of Indianapolis, A. J. Petree and Joshua Petree, both of Danville; parents, Sharon Skeens of Franklin, Dean (Sharon) Petree of Avon; sisters, Shari Petree of Franklin, Deana Caldwell of Columbia City, IN., Tina (Kevin) Noe of Danville, Tricia (Matthew) Wilson of Fort Worth, TX. and several nieces and nephews. Friends and family may call from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Thursday, December 31, 2020 in Baker Funeral Home, Danville.  A private family funeral service will be held.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Baker Funeral Home 387 East Broadway Street Danville, IN  46122, to offset the cost of the funeral.  Due to Covid-19 restrictions, masks and social distancing are required.
