Willie T. Payne, 90 of Danville, passed away June 4, 2016.  Born January 4, 1926 in Mount Vernon, Kentucky, he was the son of Henry and Nanny Scott Payne.  He married Margaret J. Ball Payne and they were married 54 years, before her death in 2006.  Willie was an Army veteran and later a baker for Colonial Bakery  36 years, before retiring in 1984.  Survivors include his son, Dennis (Teresa) Payne; daughters, Ruth Ann (Frank) Malicoat, Jean Dostin, all of Danville; 9 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.  His parents, wife, siblings, son, Willie T. Payne, Jr. and daughter, Margaret Ann Payne, preceded him in death.  Services will be at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 in Baker Funeral Home, Danville, with burial to follow in Floral Park Cemetery, Indianapolis.  Calling will be from 11:00 am until the service time in the funeral home.
