William A. VanNice went home to be with our Lord on August 06, 2021.  He was born on October 01, 1940 in Greencastle, the son of the late Carl and Genevive (McCammack) VanNice.  Bill was a graduate of Amo High School and a lifelong farmer in Hendricks County.  He enjoyed working with horses, mules and square dancing.  He and his wife, Sandra Sue (Wise) VanNice were married for 50 years and she preceded him in death in 2018.  Bill was a member of the Clayton Baptist Church.  He is survived by his brother-in-law, Paul Steven Wise (Brenda); sister-in-law, Ella Walton (Ted); and many nieces and nephews.  The family would like to thank Sugar Grove Assisted Living, Grace at Home, and Brookdale Hospice for their compassionate care for Bill.  Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 in Baker Funeral Home, Danville, with burial to follow in the Danville South Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the service time in the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Clayton Baptist Church P. O. Box 80 Clayton, IN 46118.
