William Jack "Bill" Haskett, 84 of Plainfield, passed away on January 21, 2024.  He was born on October 16, 1939 in Indianapolis to the late Helen "Meredith" (Roderick) and William Paul Haskett.  Bill owned an antique record shop, "Golden Memory" and was a self-employed genealogist.  He received his bachelor's degree from Butler University and then attended Indiana University Law School to obtain his Juris Doctor degree.  Bill formerly attended Lynhurst Baptist Church of Indianapolis and also was past president of the Indiana branch of Toastmaster's International.  Survivors include his wife, Susan M. Haskett; son, William B. Haskett; brother, James Haskett; sister, Merelaine Haskett; niece, Paula (Haskett) Strieb; and nephew, Troy Haskett and wife, Levina.  A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 23, 2024 in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield, with inurnment to follow in the Walton Cemetery, Walton, Indiana.
