William Lawrence “Larry” Davis, 76, of Avon, passed away on May 01, 2026 at The Gathering Together. He was born on January 05, 1950 in New Castle, Pennsylvania, to the late Dorothy Jayne (Fehl) and William Frank Davis. Larry was a 1967 graduate of Neshannock High School in New Castle. He married Kathryn A. King on September 01, 1972 in Sacramento, California. He served in the U. S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.

Mr. Davis had a passion for Aviation. He was a certified aircraft mechanic and an Engineer. Larry retired from Rolls-Royce after several years. His hobbies also revolved around airplanes, both building and flying them. In his spare time he practiced target shooting, was an avid reader, and enjoyed traveling and spending time with friends and family.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Kathryn A. Davis; son, Jon Davis, both of Avon; and brother, Ronald (Marilyn) Davis of Jackson, Michigan.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 pm on Monday, May 04, 2026 in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until the service time in the funeral home. Burial with full military honors will take place at a later date at Castleview Memorial Gardens in New Castle, Pennsylvania.
