William Lee "Billy" King, age 73, of Indianapolis passed away in his residence on February 16, 2024. He was born on June 27, 1950 in Indianapolis to the late Virgil and Elizabeth Roska King. He married Sherry Miller on December 13, 1974; she survives. Billy was a mechanic for several years for Jim Campbell Datsun and also worked for advanced auto. He was an Indiana University basketball fan, Indianapolis Indians fan and was a member of the NHRA and an avid drag racer. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday February 20, 2024 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. with Rev, Danielle Cox officiating. Survivors include his wife Sherry. Daughter Amber King Andrews (Aaron). Sister: Susan Black. Brothers: Buddy and Jack King. Grandchildren: Hannah and William Andrews.
