Wendy R. Homan, 74, of Plainfield, Indiana died on Thursday, December 21, 2023 in Plainfield.

Wendy was born on April 23,1949 in Sturgis, Michigan to her parents Roy Romine and Carolyn Crandall and was the oldest of four sisters. Wendy attended the University of Western Kentucky before ultimately graduating from IUPUI in Indianapolis. She worked with her father for many years at their material handling engineering business RTR Associates before selling the business and embarking on a long second career as the owner of Wendy's Nail Works where she developed long standing friendships and relationships with many of her clients. She'll be remembered for her love of hummingbirds, flowers and her kind nature.

Wendy is survived by her husband, William Homan of Plainfield, son, Michael Thomas of Newburyport, Massachusetts, and her loving stepchildren, Natalie Smith, Stephanie Blevins, Billy Homan and Andy Homan, all of Plainfield. In addition to her 17 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren she is survived by her three sisters Linda Bertram, Lucy Romine and Karen Miller.
