Wendy R. Lux, 63 of Avon, passed away on January 20, 2023.  She was born on July 18, 1959 in East Chicago, Indiana, to the late Ira and Ina (Franks) Chinn.  Wendy married Mark Lux on January 11, 1977 in Gary, Indiana.  She graduated from Calumet High School in Gary and then attended I. U. P. U. I. where she received her bachelor's degree in Computer Science.  Wendy has worked for Indiana Farm Bureau the past 16 years as a team leader and computer programmer.  Wendy was an avid reader and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She was also an animal lover.  Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Mark Lux of Avon; children, Neil Lux of Indianapolis, Kara (David) Bleza of Crown Point, Danielle (Gill) Barnett of San Juan Capistrano, CA.; grandchildren, Alyssa, Brooklyn, Jacob, Mia, Kai; sisters, April Chinn of Lowell, Cheryl (T. J.) Tomes of Demotte, Eva Lopez of Portage.  Baker Funeral Home, Danville, is in charge of the arrangements.  The family plans to have a Celebration of Life at a later date.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to autismspeaks.org or by mail at Autism Speaks 1060 State Road, Second Floor Princeton, NJ 08540
