Walton McKinney Jr., age 85 of Clayton, passed away on February 16, 2022.  He was born on January 28, 1937 in Glasgow, Kentucky to the late Walton McKinney Sr. and Osa Barker McKinney Willard.  He was the widow of Sharlene Sigler McKinney.  Walter was a Precision Grinder for Webco Company for 30 years before his retirement.  He enjoyed anything with working on race cars and was a master at building race motors.  He enjoyed watching John Wayne and Roy Rogers shows.  Graveside services will be held on Monday February 21, 2022 at 1 p.m. in West Newton Cemetery.  Survivors include his son: John Thomas McKinney.  Brothers: Charlie, Donald and Bobby McKinney.  6 Grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his son Joseph Wayne McKinney.  Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield is handling arrangements.
