Thomas E. "Tom" Jessup, 90, Avon, passed away on November 14, 2016 in Avon.  He was born on July 14, 1926 in Plainfield to Clifford and Hazel Owen Jessup.  He married Mary L. Atkins Jessup on September 10, 1950; she survives.  He was the owner and operator of Lindsay Softwater in Avon for 35 years retiring in 1997. Tom is an U.S. Army Air Force Veteran of World War II.  Funeral services will be held on Monday November 21, 2016 at 11 a.m. in the Plainfield Christian Church with Rev. Steve White officiating.  Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery in Plainfield.  Calling hours will be on November 20, 2016 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in Hall-Baker Funeral Home Plainfield.  Survivors include his wife Mary, Children Ronald Jessup and wife Tammi and Rhonda Jessup.  Grandsons: Ryan C and Sean B. Jessup.  He was preceded in death by his parents and Brothers: George T. and Richard L.
