Syble E. Geiger, 92 of Plainfield, passed away January 7, 2020.  She was born on January 9, 1927 in Henderson, Kentucky, to the late Chester and Annie (Cron) Howard.  She married Walter Geiger on April 27, 1946 and he preceded her in death.  Syble was an accounting supervisor for Indiana Bell for 35 years, retiring in 1981.  She was a member of the Ben Davis Christian Church.  Survivors include her son, Dan Geiger; daughter, Sallie Litton Smith (Rick), both of Plainfield; sister, Wanda Ellington of Mooresville; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.  Services will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 11, 2020 in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield, with entombment to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery Mausoleum.  Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the service in the funeral home.  Contributions may be made to Life's Journey of Avon 10241 E CR 100 N Indianapolis, IN 46234.
