Suzanne Jo Cook, 85 of Lizton (formerly of Indianapolis), passed away on November 20, 2022 at Hendricks Regional Health in Danville.  She was born on October 17, 1937 in Indianapolis, to the late Mary Katherine (Payne) and Noble Taylor.  Suzanne married Bobby I. Cook on November 27, 1957 in Indianapolis and he preceded her in death in 2003.  She was a custodian at Beech Grove High School until her retirement.  She had previously worked as a cashier at Standard Grocery for several years.  Suzanne enjoyed gambling and camping, however, "glamping" was more her style.  Survivors include her children, Tyann Newbold (Mark) of Minnesota, Tonnya Brunes (Marty) of Lizton, Timothy Cook of Indianapolis; siblings, Janet Derringer of Nashville, IN., Brenda Schubert (Charles) of Indianapolis, Michael Taylor (Roberta) of Camby; grandchildren, Jeremy Newbold (Valerie), Tiffany Hoskins (Wesley), Derek Truman (Sarah), Corey Truman, Dustin Truman, Michael Truman (Emma), David Brunes, Amanda Brunes; and 21 great grandchildren.  Her parents; husband; siblings, Madeline Schimpf, Joyce Calvert, Noble "Sonny" Taylor, Ronnie Taylor, Linda Merritt; and one great grandchild, Addison Truman, preceded her in death.  Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday May 27, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in  Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield.  Memorial services will start at 1 p.m. in the funeral home.  Inurnment will take place at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday in Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis.
