Stephen G. Stadler, 68 of Clayton, passed away February 17, 2017.  Born October 20, 1948 in Brazil, Indiana, he was the son of Arthur and Betty Margaret Nevins Stadler.  Stephen married Georgia Berridge on June 4, 1994.  He was a farmer and the owner of Down to Earth Seamless Guttering.  He also had worked at Bryant Heating and Cooling (Carrier) for 19 years.

Survivors include his wife, Georgia Stadler; daughters, Stephanie (Greg) DeWeese of Plainfield, Janelle (Britt) Greenup of Mooresville; son, Stephen G. Stadler II (Nikki), of Clayton; sisters, Kathy (Don) Brown of Florida, Ronda Peed of Clayton; grandchildren, Deryk Webber, Breanna Schueller, both of Plainfield, Riley Greenup, Ashton Greenup, both of Mooresville, Makayla Griffith, Brandon Griffith, Emily Updike, of Clayton; great grandchildren, Makenna Thompson, Reece Schueller and Jocelynn Webber.

Services will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, February 23, 2017 in Baker Funeral Home, Danville, with burial to follow in the Clayton Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 pm on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 in the funeral home.
