Sondra Joan Peel, 79 of Camby, passed away on April 9, 2017 in her residence.  She was born on October 13, 1937 in Matthews, MO. to the late Virgil and Hazel Henson Yarbro.  She married Gordon Peel on December 14, 1957; he survives. She was a homemaker.   Sondra was a very active member of the Plainfield Baptist Church, she taught Sunday school for 45 years, befriended numerous elderly women and organized senior luncheons at the church.  Survivors include her husband Gordon. Children: Gordon, Jr., Jason Peel, Susan Wills, Charlotte Ashley and Karen Trivett.  Sister: Dametra Hurley.  8 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association 50 East 91st Street Suite 100 Indianapolis, Indiana 46209-4830. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, April 15, 2017 in Plainfield Baptist Church.
