Shirley Ann Lockman, 83 of Plainfield, passed away May 18, 2019.  Born February 04, 1936 in Martinsville, she was the daughter of Griff and Desi Unise (Manley) Burkett.  She married "Bud" Newton Lockman and he preceded her in death.  Shirley was a homemaker.  Survivors include her son, Michael "Chris" Ellett and wife, Julia, of Clayton, 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.  Her parents, husband, sons, Tony and Brad Ellett, 2 brothers and 4 sisters, preceded her in death.  Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield, is in charge of the arrangements.  There will be no services at this time.
