Sherri K. Hendrick, 70 of Avon, passed away on October 15, 2022.  She was born on February 24, 1952 in Shelbyville, Indiana, to the late Patricia Smith and Roscoe Gibson.  She was raised by her mother and father, Paul Greeneisen.  Sherri married Steven Hendrick and he preceded her in death.  She worked in customer service and retail most of her life.  Sherri enjoyed gardening, horseback riding and her cats.  Survivors include her daughters, Shannon Swalls (Dan), Andrea Baughman (Curt); brothers, Joe Gibson (Jackie), Randy Gibson; sisters, Danielle Gibson, Kimberly Thomas (J. R.); sister-in-law, Alicia (Scott) Ellis; 4 grandchildren, Ciera (Max), Brandon, Rose, Justin Swalls; and 5 great grandchildren, Jordon, Brycen, Avery, Tanner and Sadie Swalls; and many nieces and nephews.  Her parents, husband, and grandson, Joshua Swalls, preceded her in death.  Visitation will be held from 1:00-3:00 pm on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield.  A graveside service will immediately follow at Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made to Hall-Baker Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
