Sharon L. "Sheri" Gibson, 73 of Camby, passed away on August 30, 2023.  She was born on August 29, 1950 in Indianapolis, to the late Marjorie (Pierson) and Edgar Millard.  She married Dale Garrett on June 01, 2019 in Coatesville, after being together for over 20 years.  Sheri was a homemaker, a former truck driver, school bus driver, and also worked as a security guard for many years.  She was a member of the Patriot Guard Riders, owned and rode her own motorcycle, and never met a stranger.  Survivors include her husband, Dale of Camby; children, Joe Gibson, Jr. (fianc'e, Amy) of Danville, Vickie Coudret (Robert) of Indianapolis, Ann Fox (Todd) of Clayton, Rachel Alexander (Paul) of Ladoga; brother, Joe Millard (Polla) of Avon; sister, Esther Millard of Indianapolis; 7 grandchildren, Jesika, Jade (Jeff), Jaira, Jillian (Matthew), Tyler, Jacob, Kayla; and 5 great-grandchildren, Mason, Thomas, Noah, Micah, and Liam.  Her parents; her first husband, Joe Bill Gibson (killed in the Vietnam War); and brothers, Cliff and Donnie Millard, preceded her in death.  Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 07, 2023 in Baker Funeral Home, Danville, with burial to follow in the Danville South Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 06, 2023 in the funeral home.
