Serria Sue Benge, 79 of Danville, passed away on January 23, 2024.  She was born on June 25, 1944 in Indianapolis to the late Bertha Grace (Davis) and Chester Kern Wilson.  She was a member of the Crossroads Church in Avon.  Survivors include her 6 children, Lila Thompson, Rose Smith, Debbie Anderson, Dorrie Stansbury (Mark), Sandy Boggess (Jim), Frank Benge (Hollie); many grandchildren and great grandchildren which she loved with all her heart. She is also survived by 3 sisters and 3 brothers.  Her parents; and a sister, preceded her in death.  Serria was a strong, fiery woman who was loved by many.  She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.  Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield, is handling the arrangements.  There will be no public service.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society 5635 W 96th St Ste 100 Indianapolis, IN 46278 or the American Lung Association 12800 N Meridian St #125 Carmel, IN 46032.
