Sandra S. Burnell, 83, of Lebanon (formerly of Danville), passed away on September 02, 2022 at her residence. She was born on June 04, 1939 in Greencastle to the late Frank T. and Margaret (Ruark) Martin. Sandy married her high school sweetheart, Jerald Wayne Burnell, on September 20, 1959 in Danville. It was a union that lasted 58 years until his death on October 08, 2017. She was an LPN and worked at various places, including Hendricks County Hospital and Tendercare Nursing Home.

Sandy is survived by her children Jeffrey (Jessica) Burnell of Coatesville, Brad (Laurie) Burnell of Avon, Amy (Gary) Gregory of Lebanon; sister Marty (Ron) Miller of Gorham, Maine; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her parents and sister, Mitzi Bair, preceded her in death.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Oct. 1 at her granddaughter's home in Pittsboro. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial gifts be made to the organ donation foundation of your choice.
