Sandra Ellen Corder Hunt, 85 of Plainfield, passed away on November 29, 2025.  She was born on December 29, 1939 in Indianapolis to the late Ruth Noreen (Mosier) and Chlorus Corder.

Sandra worked as a secretary for the Indiana State Police, Farm Bureau Insurance, Rothley Brass as well as typing many papers for her kids and their friends.

She (aka Sandy, Mom, Gramma, Grandma, G-Ma) enjoyed any type of stitching, was an avid reader, loved music and singing, bluebirds, violets and all flowers, and especially loved to bake and eat cookies.

Blessed with many lives grieving her passing including her children, Bryan Hunt(Elizabeth) of Avon, IN; Bruce Hunt(Christen) of Oldsmar, FL; Amy Lu McCullah(Derek) of Whitestown, IN; brother, Terry Corder of Indianapolis; Eleven grandchildren; Alaina(Matthew) Kelsey, Derek(Natasha), Joshua(Alexandra), Jamie, Chloe, Tyler(Madison), Jordan, Abigail(Hunter) Bradley and Bryce. Twelve great grandchildren; Gideon, Ariel, Jaevon, Ric'keil, Ana, Ava, Charleston, Theo, Jaxson, Colton, MacIntyre and Lochlan. and one great-great grandchild, Phoenix. And many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

She is preceded in death by her son and Navy veteran, Bradley Dean Hunt, her parents, Brother Jimmy, sisters Nancy, MaryLou, and Betty; and one great grandson Andrew.

Did we mention, SHE LOVED COOKIES!

Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield, is handling the final arrangements.

There will be no services at this time.
