Ronald W. "Buck" Henderson, 79, of Bainbridge, passed away April 26, 2019.  Born April 13, 1940 in Indianapolis, he was the son of the late Robert K. and Dorothy L. Johnson Henderson.  Buck married Mary Jayne McGuire on February 28, 1959 in Bainbridge.  He worked for Omar Baking Company and then attended Indiana Barber College.  He started barbering in 1962 and in 1970 he opened Buck's Barber Shop in Danville and continued until his retirement in 2005.  He was an avid Indiana Pacers and Indianapolis Colts fan, and loved watching NASCAR and IndyCar races.  He also enjoyed gardening, traveling with his wife, and playing with his dog, Buster.  Buck was a member of the Whitestone Christian Church in New Winchester.  Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Mary Jayne Henderson of Bainbridge; daughters, Martha Henderson Dietz (Richard) of Zionsville, Doris Henderson, Donna Grosman (Irwin), all of Brooklyn, New York; brother, Bill Henderson (Beverly) of Bainbridge; sister, Patricia Pell (Donald) of Danville; grandchildren, Jacob Dietz, Alexa Dietz, Hannah Grosman and Michael Grosman.  His parents, brothers, Ed Henderson, Bob Henderson and sister, Devona Brown, preceded him in death.

Services will be at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at Whitestone Christian Church, New Winchester, with burial to follow at New Maysville Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 pm on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at the church.  Baker Funeral Home, Danville, is in charge of the arrangements.  Online condolences may be made at www.bakerfuneralservice.com
