Roberta R. Rogers, 71 of Plainfield, passed away November 6, 2019 in Life's Journey of Avon.  She was born on August 4, 1948 in New Castle to the late John Wesley Hicks and Opal Roberta Boyd Hicks.  She married Otis E. "Odee" Rogers, Jr. on November 15, 2015 in Indianapolis and he preceded her in death on October 10, 2018.  Roberta graduated from DePauw University, received two master's degrees from Indiana University, and worked as a nurse practitioner in the medical field.  Survivors include her sister and brother-in law, Delma J. and Craig L. Copeland of Houston, Texas.  A private internment will take place at West Ridge Park Cemetery, Indianapolis.  Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield, is in charge of the arrangements.
