Robert E. "Bob, Bobby" Todd, 70 of Danville, IN, passed away on August 23, 2022. He was born on July 22, 1952 in Danville, IL, to the late Perry E and Corabelle (Brown) Todd. He married Elizabeth F. (James) on March 12, 1971 in Danville, IL. Robert graduated from Oakwood High School in Oakwood, IL, in 1970. He worked at the GM foundry in Danville, IL, for 21 years, he then transferred to Allison Transmission and worked there another 18 years, and in that time completed a four year electrician apprenticeship before retiring in 2015, with a total of 39 years. Robert and his wife attended the Bible Church of Brownsburg for the past 20 years, and prior to that were members of Calvary Baptist Church in Tilton, IL for over 20 years. Robert loved going to the beach in Gulf Shores, AL, fixing up cars, hunting, listening to gospel music, and pointing people to Christ. Most of all he loved his family and investing in and playing with his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Elizabeth F. Todd of Danville, IN, daughters, Julie (Chad) Herzog of Covington, Kristie (Scott) Thompson of Avon, Shellie Todd of Danville, IN; sisters Marlene Williams of Mattoon, IL, Connie Ross (the late Rick Ross), Dianne (Dennis) Gray, both of Danville, IL; grandchildren, Logan, Hailynn, Landon, Adeline, Layton, Aydrik, Addisyn, Kyndrik, Lawson, and Kaidyn. His parents, his grandson, Holden Herzog, and special friend and brother-n-law Ron Johnson preceded him in death.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm, IN time, on Monday, August 29, 2022 in the Bible Church of Brownsburg with Pastor Paul Luedke and Pastor David Kaneversky officiating.

Services in Illinois are as follows: A memorial visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 pm, IL time, on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at Calvary Baptist Church in Tilton, IL. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am, IL time, on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Calvary Baptist Church with burial to follow in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Danville, IL.  Pastor Joe Humrichous and Pastor Dan Kitinoja will officiate. Baker Funeral Home in Danville, IN, is handling the arrangements.
