Robert H. O'Hare, 85, of Plainfield passed away on April 25, 2017 in Cumberland Trace in Plainfield.  He was born on November 16, 1931 in Jameson, Missouri to Robert Gerald and Celia Mae Herald O' Hare.  Robert married Norma Haines on February 19, 1956; she preceded him in death in 2013.  He was an Engineer for Allison's Transmissions for several years before retirement.  Bob was a member of the Plainfield Christian Church, Past Exalted ruler of Plainfield Elks Lodge #2186, Plainfield Masonic Lodge #653 and a member of the Plainfield Town Counsel.  Bob enjoyed watching his grandsons play in sporting events, loved his family and was an avid golfer.  Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday May 1, 2017 in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield.  Entombment will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery.   Calling hours will be held on Monday two hours prior to service in the funeral home.   Survivors include his son Kenneth O' Hare.  Sister: Osta Ann Netherton.
